Con tacos laterales tomados del legendario Minion DHF, pero ensanchados para brindar más soporte, el DHR II toma las curvas como ningún otro. La banda de rodadura central presenta bordes de ataque en rampa para mejorar la aceleración y laminillas para crear una transición suave al inclinar la bicicleta. Los tacos tipo paleta en la banda de rodadura central se clavan en las frenadas fuertes y ayudan a mantener la bicicleta bajo control.
